What you get
- No minimum memebership period.
- First month money back period - If your not happy within the
first month we will remove & refund in full any kit bought
from SVW.
- A firewalled connection to help protect your computer from Internet attack.
- Email addresses (yourname@svw.org.uk) for you and family (upto
6) will work with Outlook & Thunderbird.
- Webmail so that you can be in contact by email anywhere you
can get a web connection e.g. Internet café.
- All email to @svw.org.uk addresses go through spam, phishing
and virus filtering.
- Unmetered service (please see Acceptable
Use Policy)
- Public IP address (Central Firewall to keep you safe)
Transparent annual costs
£15 connection + £135 for
wireless hardware + 12 months @£15/month = £330/year,
ongoing cost of £180/year.
The more people subscribe the better, the monthly subscription
could go down or we may decide to expand the network coverage or
help disadvantaged members of the community get connected with discount
equipment / subscription. Remember this is not for profit so the money SVW generates,
goes right back into the club.
How to pay
Payment maybe made by cash, cheque, standing order (preferred).
