Outlook Express roaming outbound SMTP email server
Q. Why do you need a roaming SMTP server account?
A. When conected to an ISP they will allow you to send / relay email through their SMTP server, the ISP will not allow computers outside of thier network to relay mail through there SMTP server for security reasons. So that you do not have to reconfigure your email client for each ISP you connect to we have provided this roaming server that you must authenticat to before being able to use, by doing this you may then use it from any ISPs network.
Q. Why not send all my email through this all the time?
A. Using the Stour Valley Wireless normal outbound email server (smtp.svw.org.uk) will give you better performance and will also work if you do not have a user@svw.org.uk email account with us but you are connected to our network.
First configure an Outlook Express email account then return to the account properties:

Change the outbound SMTP mail server to: mail.svw.org.uk and check the 'My server requires authentication' box & click OK
