Whilst it is fun to 'roll your own' network adaptor from ice cream containers and Gaffer tape some people would like to just get connected and stay connected when it rains ;) Aside from the built in antenna model, there is also a model that has an external N-Type conector for an omnidirectional antenna used for repeaters; both models will act in Access Point (AP) / AP Client / Bridge or Multipoint Bridges. Web and Windows interfaces allow you to configure and monitor the unit, although SVW is happy to do this for you after it is installed.
